Cluster Security Manager

About the role

The Cluster Security Manager reports to the Cluster Hotel Manager and is responsible for overseeing security operations across Fairmont The Norfolk and Fairmont Mara Safari Club. The role ensures a consistent standard of safety, security, and loss‑control compliance while supporting guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly and engaging service at all times.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and loss‑control policies and procedures.
• Oversee security operations at both Fairmont The Norfolk and Fairmont Mara Safari Club.
• Collaborate with department heads to integrate security protocols into daily operations.
• Develop and implement site‑specific security strategies tailored to each property’s location, regulations and guest profile.
• Coordinate security training programs and foster a unified risk‑management approach.
• Conduct regular site inspections and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Serve as the primary contact for inter‑property security communication and coordination.
• Work with regional and corporate security teams to align initiatives with company objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging threats, adjusting measures proactively.
• Represent the properties in security matters within the local community and maintain relationships with law enforcement and government bodies.
• Ensure adherence to brand‑specific security standards and implement updates as required.
