College Head – Academic Leadership

About the role

The Principal will provide strategic academic and institutional leadership across Medprime Training College, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, student‑centred and market‑relevant training across all campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of academic programmes across all campuses.
• Oversee curriculum implementation, timetabling, trainer allocation and teaching resources.
• Monitor trainer performance, conduct coaching, and ensure competency‑based training compliance.
• Coordinate examinations, assessments, accreditation compliance and continuous quality improvement.
• Manage student academic performance, attendance, progression and implement interventions.
• Oversee practical, clinical and industrial attachment programmes and industry partnerships.
• Conduct academic audits, classroom observations and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and development of academic staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health Sciences, Medical/Healthcare or related field.
• 2‑3 years’ experience in academic/training management, supervising trainers/lecturers.
• Experience with examinations, curriculum implementation, accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of TVET and competency‑based education (CBET); healthcare education experience preferred.
• Multicampus academic management experience is an advantage.
