Commercial & Contracts Advisor – EPC

About the role

As a Commercial & Contracts Advisor you will support EPC projects across offshore wind, onshore wind and other large‑scale energy infrastructure initiatives. Employed by JUMBO Consulting Group, you will be seconded to client teams, providing specialist contract and commercial expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers to balance contractual risk with commercially viable solutions.
• Monitor critical contractual milestones, assess rights and obligations, and ensure compliant execution.
• Lead change orders, variations and claims while protecting the client’s commercial interests.
• Interpret contract terms, prepare correspondence and track performance against obligations.
• Manage the commercial relationship with contractors, maintaining proactive communication.
• Deliver high‑quality contractual deliverables on time and within the defined mandate.
• Prepare governance materials, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law.
• Experience in contract management, legal or commercial roles, preferably within a matrix organisation.
• Background in offshore wind, renewable energy or major infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate and manage key project contracts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a methodical, detail‑oriented approach.
