Commercial Support & Pricing Analyst

About the role

Vivo Energy Kenya is looking for a Commercial Support & Pricing Analyst to drive pricing, profitability and commercial performance across its business segments. The role manages pricing strategies, customer contracts, forecasting and business analytics, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimise margins, ensure pricing and data integrity and deliver insights that improve revenue growth, operational efficiency and return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end pricing and act as custodian of customer contracts across all commercial segments
• Interface with Supply, Legal, CSC, GBS and other stakeholders, and share costings and daily business performance updates
• Maintain customer master data integrity in SAP S/4HANA and generate business insights
• Carry out profitability analysis for customer business cases and integrated business planning, including demand forecasting within a +/- 5% deviation
• Support annual planning for volume, margins, Opex and Capex, and prepare reports and presentations
• Collaborate with the Aviation Assistant on aviation business support
• Review credit and debit note requests before head of business sign-off and drive competitive tender pricing for B2B and aviation
• Analyse commercial results (fuels, aviation, lubes) by volume, cost build-up, margins and Opex, explaining monthly variances against plan
• Monitor Capex and Opex cost management to optimise ROI
• Deliver on the HSSE plan, including safety walk-arounds, toolbox meetings and reporting of PI's and VMLs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (CPA qualification preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in strategy or business analysis
• Insight-driven, proactive and accountable self-starter with strong commercial acumen
• Strong team player with creative problem-solving and ethical market and competitive analysis skills
• Adaptability to changing commercial market dynamics and high integrity
