About the role

The Communications & Transformation Network Coordinator bridges high‑level brand strategy with on‑the‑ground operational excellence for Stanford Seed in Africa. Acting as the regional steward, the role ensures that all communications, events, and network activities consistently reflect the standards of Stanford University and the Graduate School of Business.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Africa regional liaison between the global communications team and regional stakeholders.
• Act as the brand guardian for voice, tone, logo usage and monitor for brand misuse across the region.
• Source, produce, and curate locally‑driven content such as participant success stories, milestones, and event coverage for newsletters and social channels.
• Manage the flow of design requests, coordinating between regional teams and central designers to ensure timely delivery of graphics and marketing materials.
• Support annual participant recruitment by overseeing referral initiatives across regional chapters.
• Cultivate relationships with diverse media outlets and track both online and traditional media mentions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, marketing or brand management, preferably within a regional or multinational context.
• Strong storytelling ability and experience creating content for newsletters, social media and event communications.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across global and local teams.
• Familiarity with African market dynamics and cultural nuances.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and capable of resolving brand‑related issues swiftly.
