Compassionate Caregiver – Patient Support Role

About the role

We are building a pool of dedicated caregivers to support future openings for the House Managers Agencies Association (HMAA). The role involves providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a healthcare setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and well‑being for each individual.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding while maintaining strict hygiene and infection‑control standards.
• Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) and promptly report any significant changes to the nursing or medical team.
• Ensure patient comfort, assist with mobility, and provide companionship to support emotional well‑being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of intake, output, observations, and other care activities.
• Follow all facility safety, infection‑control, and occupational health protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.

Required profile

• Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
• Preferred Certificate in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Previous clinical experience in a nursing home or hospital is highly preferred.
• Provide a copy of National ID/Passport and a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
