About the role
The Kenya College of Interior Design is seeking a dynamic Construction Management Trainer to deliver high‑quality instruction to undergraduate students. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that bridge theory and industry practice.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate lectures and workshops on construction management topics.
- Develop course materials, case studies, and assessment tools aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide feedback and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and professional growth.
- Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with faculty to continuously improve program content.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering).
- Teaching qualification preferred (DTTE/PGDE).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience or 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Archicad.
- Proficiency with SketchUp.
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
