Construction Safety Officers (3 Vacancies)

About the role

Three qualified Construction Safety Officers are sought to support safe site operations across projects in Othaya, Nyeri and Naromoru. Applications are closed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety procedures on construction sites.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Perform site inspections, identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate weekly reports and follow up on incidents, near misses and non-compliance.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Maintain safety records and support compliance with OSHA 2007 and construction safety regulations.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and clients on safety matters.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Health or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in construction site supervision or safety operations.
• Good knowledge of Kenyan construction laws and OSHA regulations.

Required skills

• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel).
