Construction Worker

About the role

We are seeking a competent Construction Worker to join our team on building, road, and other construction projects. You will help turn architects' and engineers' plans into solid, finished structures while working safely on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tradesmen and machine operators throughout construction projects.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and related structures with a focus on safety.
• Unload, transport, and handle materials on construction sites.
• Operate demolition equipment and, when required, handle explosives according to instructions.
• Prepare and apply construction materials such as cement, and smooth or level new concrete.
• Clean the site by removing debris and discarded material.
• Install traffic signals and related safety devices where needed.

Required profile

• Physical strength and endurance for demanding manual tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and collaborate with team members.
• Experience on relevant construction projects and with construction equipment.

Required skills

• Scaffolding erection and dismantling.
• Operation of demolition equipment.
• Handling of explosives for controlled demolition.
• Concrete finishing and leveling.
