About the role
CIFOR (World Agroforestry Centre) is looking for a qualified consultant to support its Governance and Trade (FLEGT) activities. The consultancy will be based in Nairobi, Westlands, and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to advance sustainable trade practices.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultancy expertise in governance and trade under the FLEGT framework.
Required profile
- Hold a relevant university degree in a field related to governance, trade, environmental science, or a comparable discipline.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Ability in one or more additional international languages is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams, preferably within a non‑profit organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to sharing information and continuous improvement in a cooperative, evaluative environment.
