Consultant to Design & Facilitate WOVEN Business Boot Camp

About the role

Light Up Hope is seeking an experienced consultant to design and deliver a three‑day entrepreneurship boot camp for WOVEN beneficiaries in Kenya. The role involves creating a practical curriculum, facilitating interactive sessions, and establishing post‑bootcamp mentorship pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a pre‑engagement needs assessment with selected participants.
• Design a detailed three‑day boot‑camp curriculum, facilitator guides, lesson plans, and participant workbooks.
• Develop learning outcomes for each session and a structured business pitch competition, including judging criteria.
• Facilitate the boot‑camp using participatory methods such as case studies, simulations, and mentorship clinics.
• Create monitoring and reporting tools, conduct post‑training follow‑ups, and submit a comprehensive final report.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in entrepreneurship training, business incubation, or youth enterprise development.
• Proven facilitation skills for intensive, interactive workshops.
• Strong knowledge of the Kenyan entrepreneurship ecosystem, including financing and incubation opportunities.
• Experience designing practical training curricula and mentorship programmes.
