Contract Agent FGIV – DG INTPA (Kenya)

About the role

Under the supervision of the Head of Partnerships, the Contract Agent will support the implementation of EU initiatives linked to the Global Gateway strategy in Kenya. The role focuses on the economic policy environment and fostering dialogue across energy, transport and digital sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, formulate, implement, monitor, evaluate and supervise programmes related to the Global Gateway strategy.
• Coordinate project activities while ensuring compliance with EU policies and guidelines.
• Promote a “Team Europe” approach by collaborating with Member States, national development banks, export credit agencies, private sector organisations and European financial institutions.
• Support contract management and governance related to the initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in programme coordination or policy implementation, preferably in an international or development context.
• Knowledge of EU funding mechanisms and the Global Gateway framework.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
