About the role
Join Nestlé’s Corporate Communication and Public Affairs (CCPA) team in Nairobi as a Graduate Intern. You will support the creation and management of Creating Shared Value (CSV) projects, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and help communicate key initiatives across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and manage CSV projects in line with Nestlé’s strategic objectives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders and report on initiative milestones.
- Liaise with brands, HR, finance, supply chain and technical teams to provide digital media support.
- Monitor competitors’ media and social activity and share insights.
- Foster a communications environment that encourages openness and high performance.
- Track regulatory policy issues and communicate business impacts.
- Coordinate internal communications such as employee announcements, town‑hall meetings and other engagement activities.
- Assist in planning and executing corporate events, including factory visits and CSV initiatives.
- Prepare basic reports and presentations and handle related administrative tasks.
- Provide general administrative and communications support to the CCPA team.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Communications, Public Relations/Affairs, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, initiative‑taking attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative storytelling ability across written, visual and verbal formats.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and planning skills.
- Capacity to multitask in a demanding environment.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Previous experience in PR or communications roles is a plus.
