Country Business Analyst (IT Manager)

About the role

The Country Business Analyst (IT Manager) works within the Africa Digital & IT Transformation department, acting as a bridge between local business units and regional headquarters. The role focuses on leveraging data and technology to drive growth, improve processes, and support day‑to‑day operations across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse data to identify opportunities for business expansion and inform go‑to‑market strategies.
• Collaborate with commercial and other functions to deliver data‑driven insights, process improvements and automation solutions.
• Act as liaison between local teams and regional/global headquarters, ensuring alignment of business goals with system capabilities.
• Document business requirements for system enhancements or new initiatives and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Support and drive local digital transformation initiatives in line with regional strategies.
• Promote a data and analytics culture, increasing maturity across the organisation.
• Manage IT business projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end‑users of business applications.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technology‑business field.
• Proven ability to act as a technology business partner and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• At least three years of relevant experience (mid‑level).
