About the role
The County Coordinator will lead FAWE's programs in Kilifi, fostering partnerships with local communities, government agencies, CSOs, and corporate partners. This role requires strong program management, budgeting, and safeguarding expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Conceptualize, innovate, and manage development programs in Kilifi County.
- Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with local stakeholders and government departments.
- Oversee budget preparation, financial reporting, and programmatic reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Child & Youth Safeguarding guidelines.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Community Development, or a related social science discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in an NGO setting.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued within the last 6 months.
- Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and multitask.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience working with databases.
- Budgeting and financial reporting skills.
