County Coordinator – Kilifi (NGO)

About the role

The County Coordinator will lead programme activities in Kilifi County, mobilising communities and stakeholders to support project interventions. The role involves organising trainings, monitoring progress, collecting data, preparing reports and maintaining strong relationships with government and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate county‑level programme activities and ensure timely implementation of interventions.
• Mobilise communities, local leaders and stakeholders to foster participation and ownership.
• Organise trainings, awareness sessions and community events.
• Monitor project progress, collect information and prepare regular reports.
• Maintain effective partnerships with government agencies, NGOs and corporate partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, Gender, Public Health, Project Management or related field.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued within the last six months.
• Minimum three years of experience in an NGO or community development setting.
• Knowledge of Child & Youth Safeguarding guidelines.
• Proven ability to conceptualise, innovate and manage programmes and build long‑term partnerships.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with database management and data entry.
• Budget and financial reporting competence.
