County Coordinator – Project Management (Nairobi)

About the role

The County Coordinator will lead the implementation of FAWE's programmes at the county level, working closely with communities, government partners and stakeholders. Based in Nairobi, the role involves mobilising beneficiaries, organising trainings and ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate programme activities across the county, including community mobilisation and stakeholder engagement.
• Support the implementation of project interventions, organise trainings and awareness events.
• Monitor progress, collect data, prepare reports and maintain strong relationships with government and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with child and youth safeguarding guidelines and contribute to budget and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Proven ability to conceptualise, innovate and manage development programmes.
• Experience cultivating long‑term partnerships with local communities, state departments, CSOs and corporate organisations.
• Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience working with various databases for data collection and reporting.
