Creative Designer

About the role

AutoXpress Limited is seeking a visionary Creative Designer to join its in‑house marketing team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for bringing the brand to life across digital and print channels, driving engagement and sales through compelling visual content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing campaigns on digital and print platforms.
• Design visuals for social media, billboards, brochures, point‑of‑sale materials, banners, posters and digital signage.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and implement campaigns that align with business goals.
• Maintain brand consistency and high‑quality visual standards across all assets.
• Create promotional materials for product launches, seasonal campaigns and special events.
• Assist in video content creation, including motion graphics and social media reels.
• Stay updated on design trends and marketing innovations to enhance effectiveness.
• Organise design files, assets and templates for efficient workflow.
• Support photography, retouching and visual content creation for marketing purposes.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive or retail sector.
• Strong portfolio showcasing marketing campaign designs across print and digital media.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience with Canva and Figma.
• Understanding of branding, visual storytelling and consumer engagement.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
