Credit Analyst

About the role

HMD is seeking a motivated finance professional to lead the Credit Analyst function for the AMEA region. Reporting to the AMEA CFO, you will work closely with global and local teams to manage credit risk and ensure timely collections across our diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage credit limits and support customer finance solutions.
• Analyse daily customer account status and collect receivables to guarantee on‑time payments.
• Validate and maintain customer master data in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with the Global Credit team on collateral issuance, renewal, and exception approvals.
• Perform credit checks for order releases in the sales ERP and communicate payment shortfalls.
• Calculate and communicate finance incentives, assess refunds, and process them.
• Oversee cash‑flow management for regions operating under IHL mode.
• Generate weekly or bi‑weekly customer statements of account and submit clearing instructions to the Cash Apps team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management or related finance functions.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external customers.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
