Relationship Manager – La Riba (Coast Region)

About the role

The La‑Riba Relationship Manager will own and grow the business banking portfolio for customers in the Coast Region. The role focuses on delivering fast, risk‑adjusted decisions, maintaining high‑quality service, and driving new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct annual and interim reviews of customers’ borrowing facilities and advise owners on financial and credit matters.
• Identify, propose and sell appropriate La‑Riba products, both reactively and proactively, to meet client needs.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure resolutions align with service standards.
• Develop and execute marketing approaches for new business while nurturing existing relationships.
• Research and follow up on target lists for potential new customers, applying prioritisation guidelines.
• Gather and input credit application data, work with SME Credit and product specialists, and monitor portfolio quality using sanction conditions and early‑warning lists.

Required profile

• Business degree (or equivalent) with at least five years of sales experience and three years in relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of business banking, Islamic banking, and Sharia‑compliant products.
• Ability to assess credit applications, manage risk indicators, and adhere to bank policies.
• Excellent communication skills for consulting customers and coordinating with internal product specialists.
