Credit Control Officer – Manage Collections & Cash Flow

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Control Officer to oversee credit operations, monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. The role supports cash‑flow optimisation and helps minimise bad debts across our client base.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to guarantee prompt payment of balances.
• Follow up with customers on overdue invoices, issue payment reminders, statements and collection reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and assess credit applications.
• Collaborate with sales, finance and other departments to resolve credit‑related issues.
• Prepare regular reports on collections, outstanding debts and credit performance.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and support strategies to improve cash flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable, preferably in a health‑care environment.
• Strong understanding of credit management, debt recovery and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑service abilities.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information.
