Customer Retention Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Retention Specialist to join TalentPop App’s new retention team. You will engage with customers who are about to cancel or have abandoned a purchase, using empathy and consultative selling to keep them subscribed.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone, chat, email and SMS to address cancellation requests and abandoned carts.
• Listen to customer concerns, propose alternatives and upsell or cross‑sell where appropriate.
• Follow up after purchases to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain detailed records and manage conversations using CRM and live‑chat tools.
• Achieve targets for conversion, retention and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• At least one year of experience in sales, retention or customer service.
• Proven ability to sell consultatively without being pushy.
• Experience handling phone or live‑chat support.
• Comfortable working independently and staying calm with upset customers.
