About the role

Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of a client in the Business Process Outsourcing sector, is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative to handle client communications and support high‑end international companies. The role involves managing inbound and outbound calls, responding to inquiries, and maintaining high service standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Manage customer accounts and provide accurate service information.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts, with debt‑collection exposure preferred.
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions.
• Resolve complaints and appropriately escalate complex issues.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with international clients.
• Meet individual and team performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Communications or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of customer service experience, preferably in banking, telecommunications, debt collection, BPO or call‑center environments.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct and a clean CRB record.
• Professional confidence when dealing with international clients.
