Data Analyst Intern – HIV/TB Programs

About the role
The Data Analyst Intern will join Palladium’s data analysis team in Nairobi, supporting HIV and TB prevention and treatment programmes. Working under the Data Demand and Information Use Lead, the intern will apply epidemiological principles to improve data quality and promote data‑driven decision‑making across national and sub‑national health initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Implement strategies to increase reporting rates and improve data quality in the Data Warehouse (DWH).
- Support data cleaning, facility and partner mapping, and conduct data quality assessments.
- Prepare ad‑hoc data sets for evaluations and studies, and build capacity for stakeholders to access the DWH.
- Develop capacity‑building materials related to the DWH.
- Create and maintain dashboards and data models for visualisation.
- Collaborate with SECCAH to deliver end‑user training and support.
- Work with the data analysis team to produce and disseminate information products.
- Assist in maintaining DWH documentation and data dictionaries.
Required profile
- Interest in HIV/TB prevention and treatment data.
- Ability to apply basic epidemiological concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
