About the role
Ideon Limited is hiring a full-time Debt Collection Officer for its branch in Westlands, Kenya. The role covers managing delinquent loan accounts and carrying out debt collection and recovery activities within the branch.
Key responsibilities
- Manage delinquent loan accounts within the assigned branch.
- Carry out timely debt collection and recovery activities.
- Reduce overdue balances and prevent accounts from falling into arrears.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and negotiate repayment arrangements.
- Achieve branch portfolio-at-risk (PAR) and arrears reduction targets.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Business Management, Finance or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in branch or field debt collection.
- Proven ability to recover delinquent accounts and negotiate repayments.
- Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work towards collection targets and deadlines.
