Delivery Truck Driver – Tilisi

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Tilisi near Limuru Town, is looking for an experienced Delivery Truck Driver. You will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment safely across Kenya while adhering to company policies and road safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Report to work as scheduled and obtain prior approval for any absence.
• Maintain custody of the assigned truck and ensure it is used only for authorized purposes.
• Perform routine checks, maintenance, and present the vehicle for inspection before each trip.
• Comply with all traffic laws, speed limits, and fuel‑efficiency standards.
• Secure cargo properly to avoid damage, loss, or spillage.
• Keep the truck and trailer clean, presentable, and well‑maintained.

Required profile

• Minimum KCSE mean grade D+.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a truck driver.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct and a clean driving record.
• Valid Class C1 Driving Licence.
• Good communication skills in English and/or Kiswahili.
