Dental Assistant & Receptionist (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organized Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our Westlands clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients and will support the dental team throughout each treatment, ensuring smooth patient flow and high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients, schedule appointments and manage the reception area.
• Handle phone inquiries and respond to emails professionally.
• Maintain patient records using dental management software while ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, materials and patients.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Manage billing, invoicing and insurance documentation.
• Order supplies, keep the workspace organized and prepare required reports.

Required profile

• Minimum KCSE grade of C‑.
• Proficiency in computer use; familiarity with dental or medical software (training provided).
• Certificate/Diploma in Dental Assisting is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and keen attention to detail.
