Dental Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team in Westlands. The role involves handling both digital and conventional dental laboratory workflows and delivering high‑quality prosthetic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and fabricate crowns, bridges, veneers and implant restorations using CAD/CAM software such as exocad or 3Shape.
• Prepare files, operate 3D printers, and finish models, surgical guides, splints and denture components.
• Manage zirconia, ceramic, metal‑ceramic, removable prosthetics and implant prosthetic cases from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in digital and conventional dental laboratory techniques.
• Ability to work independently, interpret dental prescriptions and communicate effectively with dentists.

Required skills

• CAD/CAM design (exocad, 3Shape)
• Dental 3D printing (file preparation, printer operation, post‑processing)
• Zirconia restoration fabrication and sintering
• Ceramic and metal‑ceramic restoration layering
• Removable prosthetics (dentures, acrylic processing)
• Implant prosthetics (custom abutments, All‑on‑X)
• PMMA provisional restorations, night guards, occlusal splints, clear aligners
• Conventional lab procedures (model pouring, die preparation, articulation)
• Quality assurance (marginal accuracy, fit, shade, aesthetics)
• Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
