Dentist – Clinical Dental Practitioner

About the role

The client is a reputable dental clinic seeking a qualified Dentist to deliver high‑quality dental care in Nairobi and Mombasa. The role involves diagnosing, treating and managing a wide range of oral health conditions while ensuring patient safety and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of clinical dental procedures to restore and maintain oral health.
• Provide patient‑centered education on preventive care and oral hygiene.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and ethical care.
• Maintain compliance with infection‑control, regulatory and quality‑assurance standards.
• Stay updated on advances in dental technologies and best practices.
• Mentor junior dental staff and participate in community outreach programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration and practicing licence with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a dental practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational, leadership and teamwork abilities.
