About the role
TSC's Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (AISR) Division is looking for a Deployed Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician to support mission‑critical King Air B200/B300 aircraft. The role involves 90‑day on/90‑day off rotational deployments outside the continental United States, providing hands‑on aircraft maintenance and ensuring mission system readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections to verify operational readiness and safety compliance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, Phase Maintenance Inspections, and detailed record‑keeping in line with FAA regulations and OEM guidelines.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and mission equipment, including Garmin G1000/G600/GTN 750, radar, EO/IR sensors, and SATCOM systems.
- Use specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators to resolve complex electronic issues.
- Collaborate with pilots, crew chiefs, and mission operators to align aircraft performance with mission objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and training to fellow maintenance personnel.
Required profile
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Minimum three years of experience maintaining King Air aircraft in deployed or austere environments.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities; ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Valid US passport and ability to travel for up to three‑month assignments.
- Excellent English communication skills.
