Designer – Custom Furniture & Interior Layouts

About the role

We are looking for a creative Designer to develop custom furniture and interior layout solutions for our clients in Nairobi. The role combines office planning, detailed drawing production and cost estimation to support sales and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Propose functional office plans and furniture layouts based on client briefs.
• Create accurate custom furniture and interior drawings for presentations and manufacturing.
• Prepare cutting lists and costing sheets for all customized designs.
• Develop creative design concepts, graphics and layouts that meet project goals.
• Brief sales consultants and clients on design proposals, production processes and timelines.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements.
• Produce daily reports and maintain organized design documentation.

Required profile

• KCSE Grade B or higher and a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Product Design or Architecture.
• 2–4 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, interior design or architectural firms.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and clients.
