DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure for a global IT services leader. The role focuses on delivering reliable, secure and scalable deployment solutions across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana or the ELK Stack.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
