DevSecOps Engineer – OT Security & Zero Trust

About the role

Our client, a global manufacturing group, is deploying Claroty CTD for OT network monitoring and Zscaler for Zero Trust remote access across its worldwide plants. They need a DevSecOps Engineer, preferably based in Kenya, to automate the rollout using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, and to operate the platforms on a day‑to‑day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Automate deployment and configuration of Claroty CTD sensors and Zscaler components with Terraform and/or Ansible, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Build integrations with both platforms’ REST APIs, manage access policies as code, and maintain version control, review and rollback processes.
• Monitor, update and troubleshoot the platforms across multiple countries, connecting them to SIEM, ticketing and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams on network segmentation and secure remote access for vendors and third parties.
• Write runbooks and standards to enable new site roll‑outs without direct involvement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Claroty (CTD or xDome) – this is the most valued skill.
• Several years as a DevOps, DevSecOps, platform, network‑automation or security engineer.
• Fluent English (C1); German is a plus.

Required skills

• Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Python, Bash or PowerShell scripting, REST‑API integration.
• Network security fundamentals: firewalls, VPN, segmentation, packet analysis (SPAN/TAP, Wireshark), Zero Trust concepts.
• Experience with Zscaler (ZPA/ZIA) or comparable Zero Trust platforms (Prisma Access, Netskope, Cloudflare Access, Cisco Secure Access).
• Familiarity with other OT security solutions (Nozomi, Dragos, Forescout, Microsoft Defender for IoT) is a plus.
