Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our online presence and drive brand awareness for Manna Lifestyle Supermarket in Nairobi. This full‑time, on‑site position will create and execute digital campaigns that attract and retain customers across social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, launch and optimise digital marketing campaigns that promote the supermarket’s products, promotions and brand.
• Create, schedule and publish engaging content on all social media channels.
• Manage social media pages, monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to maximise reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with in‑store teams to capture product highlights and promotional assets.
• Respond promptly to customer messages and comments, maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Track campaign results, prepare performance reports and recommend data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media marketing and social media optimisation (SMO).
• Strong written communication skills and ability to craft brand‑aligned messages.
• Experience planning content calendars and aligning posts with business objectives.
• Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as platform insights and Google Analytics.
• Basic knowledge of paid advertising on social networks.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Relevant experience in retail or FMCG is a plus; a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications or Digital Media is advantageous.
