Direct Sales Representative

About the role

The Direct Sales Representative will act as the front‑line contact for prospective bank customers, promoting a range of banking products and guiding clients through the application process. The role involves generating leads, explaining product features, and ensuring accurate documentation while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing prospective customer leads from referrals, cross‑selling opportunities, bank‑organized sales activations and provided leads.
• Explaining product features to customers in line with specifications and treating customers fairly.
• Guiding customers on completing applications for desired products.
• Reviewing applications and documentation for accuracy.
• Authenticating customer details by checking original IDs and passports against copies.
• Forwarding completed applications to the Sales Manager or Retail Support Team within 24 hours of sign‑off.
• Prospecting customers for additional suitable bank products.
• Ensuring safe custody of customer documents.
• Escalating customer feedback or complaints to the appropriate manager.
• Providing market feedback and regular sales reports to leadership.

Required profile

• Graduate of a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for quality service and ability to meet stringent targets within deadlines.
