About the role
A client of Studio 22 Agency (Abela) Ltd is looking for an experienced, strategic Director of Finance and Support Services to lead financial management, budgeting, accounting, compliance and organisational support services. The role ensures sound financial management, effective use of resources, compliance with statutory and donor requirements and strong financial reporting systems. The position is based in Nairobi.
Required profile
- Master's degree in Commerce or an equivalent qualification.
- CPA-K (Certified Public Accountant of Kenya), ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in a senior management position within a reputable organisation.
- Sun Systems certification is required.
- Active membership in a registered professional accounting body.
Required skills
- Budgetary and financial management.
- Financial analysis and reporting.
- Grant accounting.
- Experience with donor-funded projects such as USAID, DFD, UN and other development partners.
- Compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
