Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The prestigious five‑star Swahili Beach resort is seeking a visionary Director of Food & Beverage to lead its entire F&B portfolio. This senior executive will shape strategy, drive profitability, and ensure world‑class guest experiences across all dining and beverage outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, room service, beach operations and future concepts.
• Develop and implement innovative F&B strategies that boost revenue, optimise costs and enhance market positioning.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance metrics to meet profit targets.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create cutting‑edge culinary offerings aligned with market trends.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• Lead, mentor and develop managers and operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Manage supplier relationships, procurement, inventory control and cost‑management initiatives.
• Monitor guest feedback and industry trends to continuously improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage operations within luxury hotels.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership, financial acumen and strategic thinking.
