Director of Resource Mobilization & Strategic Partnerships

About the role

ResQ247 is seeking a founding partner to lead its funding strategy for two life‑saving missions in Kenya: gender‑based violence rescue and road‑accident response. This senior position will own the end‑to‑end mobilization of impact capital and build strategic partnerships that enable rapid, coordinated emergency services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage a funding pipeline across grants, donors, foundations, development agencies, and impact investors focused on health, safety, and gender.
• Identify and engage angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, and strategic partners aligned with emergency‑response innovation.
• Write proposals, concept notes, pitch decks, and investment memoranda that translate mission goals into funded programs.
• Forge partnerships with government bodies, hospitals, NGOs, and private‑sector actors to extend reach and impact.
• Represent ResQ247 at funder forums, conferences, and investor meetings, bringing back opportunities and commitments.

Required profile

• Proven track record of mobilizing real money through grants, donor relationships, or investment rounds.
• Experience in development finance, impact investing, NGO partnerships, or startup fundraising.
• Ability to craft proposals that pass rigorous review committees and deliver compelling pitches.
• Existing network of funders, donors, or investors in the social‑impact or emergency‑response space.
