Director, Specialist Sales, Consumer Issuing

About the role

The Director, Specialist Sales, Consumer Issuing will lead the growth of Mastercard’s consumer card portfolio across credit, debit, prepaid and premium segments. You will drive new product sales, portfolio optimisation and revenue growth while partnering closely with issuing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercialization of new consumer card products and manage a strong sales pipeline from identification to launch.
• Develop and execute client strategies to increase acquisition, activation, spend and transaction volume.
• Partner with clients to create differentiated customer value propositions tailored to priority consumer segments.
• Champion the adoption of innovative Mastercard products, services and payment capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Account Management, Product, Marketing, Digital, Loyalty, Services) to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in consumer cards, payments or retail banking with a strong commercial orientation.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, sales pipeline management and revenue growth.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and strategic initiatives concurrently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and consultative selling skills.
