Driver and Equipment Operator (Forklift, Excavator, Truck)

About the role

We are looking for safety‑conscious drivers and equipment operators to join our Engineering Department. You will operate forklifts, trucks and excavators to support construction and logistical activities while adhering to company policies and health‑and‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, trucks and excavators on site.
• Perform daily pre‑operation inspections and report any defects.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, equipment and personnel as required.
• Load, unload, stack, lift and move materials using appropriate equipment.
• Carry out excavation, earth‑moving, trenching and site‑preparation tasks.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records and delivery documentation.
• Keep assigned vehicles and equipment clean, secure and well‑maintained.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site teams to ensure efficient task completion.

Required profile

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Kenyan driving licence for the specific vehicle or equipment.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and occupational health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of safety awareness.
