About the role
The Kenya Medical Training College is seeking a reliable driver to operate its vehicles safely and efficiently. The role involves transporting passengers, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive assigned vehicles as authorized and adhere to traffic laws.
- Maintain up‑to‑date work tickets and keep the vehicle clean.
- Detect and report common mechanical faults and ensure proper mechanical working condition.
- Ensure the security and safety of passengers and the vehicle on and off the road.
- Report any incidents to police and the office immediately.
Required profile
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (plain) or equivalent.
- Valid D3 driving licence without endorsements.
- At least two years of driving experience.
- First‑Aid Certificate (minimum one week) from a recognised institution.
- Certificate of Suitability Test for Drivers issued by the transport ministry.
- Valid clearance certificate from the National Police Service.
Required skills
- Proficiency in computer applications.
