Duty Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our front office team and act as the ambassador of our luxury hotel. You will be the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations, resolving guest issues promptly, and delivering exceptional service across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, providing personalized and memorable experiences.
• Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Oversee VIP arrivals, special requests, and key guest interactions.
• Act as Manager on Duty, coordinating front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and security to maintain brand standards.
• Respond to operational challenges, guest incidents, and emergency situations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest‑facing and operational areas.
• Lead and coach team members, fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel.
• International hospitality experience is a strong advantage.
• Proven success in guest engagement, service recovery, and operational leadership.
• Experience with Hyatt Hotels or another internationally recognized luxury brand is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Security.
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Training in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Emergency Response is an added advantage.
