EdTech Platform Developer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our EdTech platform team, helping to build and enhance features that support online learning. This role offers hands‑on experience in both frontend and backend development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for our EdTech platform.
• Write clean, maintainable frontend and backend code.
• Integrate third‑party APIs such as video streaming, payment gateways, or LMS tools.
• Test, debug, and optimise platform performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Engineering, Education Technology or Education Science (with Computer).
• Certified or currently studying for a Full‑Stack Software Development certification.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Highly motivated, self‑driven and passionate about education technology.

Required skills

• React / Next.js for frontend development.
• Node.js or Python/Django for backend development.
• SQL / PostgreSQL database knowledge.
• Proficiency with Git workflow.

What we offer

• 3–4 month internship.
• Salary KES 15,000 – 30,000 per month.
