About the role
The Coast Water Works Development Agency is seeking an entry‑level Electrical Engineer I to support the development and maintenance of water and sanitation infrastructure in the Coast region. This full‑time position involves hands‑on electrical work on plant equipment and collaboration with engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and execute advanced electrical works and diagrams using correct symbols.
- Test alternator relays, armature resistance, and continuity.
- Repair large battery‑charging plants and related equipment.
- Examine batteries for slugging and sulphation.
- Assist in interpreting drawing symbols and repair electrical components of machinery and plant equipment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Entry‑level experience (up to 3 years) in electrical installation or assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
