Engine / Generator Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking an Engine / Generator Mechanic to ensure reliable operation of diesel, gasoline and auxiliary power generators in a remote, team‑oriented environment. The role supports mission‑critical power readiness through maintenance, troubleshooting and emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on generator equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, belt adjustments and component inspections.
• Conduct load testing, operational checks and document all maintenance actions per established procedures.
• Maintain tools, work areas and adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
• Support emergency power response and assist with any additional job‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in engine maintenance, generator repair or mechanical equipment support.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining validity and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.

Required skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting of internal combustion engines and generator systems.
• Preventive maintenance procedures including oil changes, filter and belt servicing.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics and maintenance instructions.
• Conducting load testing and operational performance checks.
