Executive Director for Youth‑Led NGO

About the role

The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and overall management of a youth‑led NGO, overseeing programme delivery, resource mobilisation and the growth of its social‑enterprise portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation’s strategy, annual plans and performance targets.
• Lead fundraising, resource mobilisation and income‑diversification activities, securing grants and partnerships.
• Provide oversight of programme design, monitoring, evaluation and reporting to ensure impact.
• Strengthen governance and work closely with the Board, serving as Secretary and ensuring policy compliance.
• Manage financial performance of the social‑enterprise, including budgeting, cash‑flow and profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years progressive experience in the non‑profit sector, including at least 3 years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record of securing significant grants and diversifying income sources.
