Executive Director

About the role

The Executive Director will lead TICAH into its next strategic cycle, building on two decades of impact in health, gender justice, climate justice and indigenous culture. The role is shared with a Deputy Executive Director under a collaborative leadership model.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create and implement the organization’s strategic plan, expanding vision and scaling impact.
• Oversee program areas – Art for Connection & Healing, Healthy Households, Indigenous Knowledge & Culture, and SRH – ensuring alignment with mission and community needs.
• Lead advocacy efforts to influence policies, laws and practices related to holistic health, sexual & reproductive rights and climate justice.
• Manage fundraising, partnerships, and financial sustainability while fostering a resilient, inclusive organisational culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in non‑profit, health, gender or climate sectors.
• Deep understanding of feminist, indigenous and community‑centred approaches.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a shared‑leadership model and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
