Field Based Account Manager – LPG Packed Sales

About the role

The Field Based Account Manager (FBAM) for LPG Packed Sales will lead packed LPG sales across Kenya, driving volume, profitability and debt targets while building strong relationships with distributors and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial and non‑financial LPG business targets through disciplined execution of functional plans.
• Manage distributor portfolio, route‑to‑market structure and metal management to increase sales and cylinder turnover.
• Collect debt, manage credit in line with company policy, and ensure timely invoicing and dispute resolution.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts for S&OP and support regulatory advocacy with government and industry bodies.
• Maintain market intelligence on competitors, pricing and new customers, and implement marketing promotions with the Marketing team.
• Conduct technical and HSSE training for distributors, POS staff and customers, and perform regular audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in FMCG channel/distributor management.
• Proven track record in negotiation, customer relationship management and team leadership.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
