Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will generate qualified leads and turn them into profitable client relationships for Accurex. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets through structured prospecting, account development and cross‑selling of HR and workforce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target organisations and decision‑makers, conduct outbound calls and personalised emails, and secure discovery meetings.
• Engage business owners, HR leaders and procurement teams to assess staffing challenges and present recruitment, outsourcing, payroll, advisory, training and HR technology services.
• Prepare accurate proposals, quotations and presentations, negotiate within delegated authority and manage the sales cycle to contract closure.
• Maintain regular contact with assigned clients to uncover new workforce needs, support renewals and coordinate cross‑selling with delivery teams.
• Keep CRM records up‑to‑date, produce weekly and monthly sales reports, and track market trends and competitor activity.
• Coordinate handovers of signed business to recruitment, payroll, outsourcing or consulting teams and work with Marketing on campaigns and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales or selling professional services, preferably in HR, staffing or recruitment.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline and achieve sales targets.
• Strong commercial awareness, client‑focus, communication and negotiation skills.
• Initiative, resilience and ability to work collaboratively with delivery teams.
