Field Enumerators for SRHR Baseline Survey (Kenya)

About the role

The Aga Khan Foundation is seeking 30 field enumerators to support the STRIDES baseline study in Kilifi County, Kenya. The study will gather quantitative and qualitative data on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for women, adolescent girls, men, boys, and community stakeholders across five sub‑counties.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all training sessions and pilot activities to ensure ethical and accurate data collection.
• Administer household surveys using mobile data‑collection tools.
• Facilitate focus group discussions (FGDs) and key informant interviews (KIIs) under supervision.
• Obtain informed consent, maintain confidentiality, and follow AKF safeguarding and ethical research standards.
• Develop a daily work plan outlining villages to be visited and ensure coverage of assigned locations.
• Submit complete and accurate data daily, keep fieldwork logs, and report any challenges promptly.
• Handle project equipment responsibly and return it at the end of fieldwork.

Required profile

• Residency in Kilifi County or nearby areas.
• Ability to travel to remote villages within the five target sub‑counties.
• Strong communication skills in English and local languages.
• Commitment to ethical research practices and safeguarding vulnerable groups.

• Basic numeracy and literacy for accurate survey administration.
